in 1992 when she was just graduating from high school Amanda Bossard started her education in marine biology with Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage, Alaska. Bossard launched her career as a seafood commercial worker in 1999. She started working on the F/V Sunset an a65' halibut-schooner which was converted into a tender for salmon in the name of Murat Aritan who was employed as a commercial fisherman since 1993. Bossard has been engaged to Aritan she has joined teams to take over their respective industries. They support conservative, profitable management of sustainable seafood resources. Otolith is an independent wholesale distributor of seafood that was started in Philadelphia in 2007 by a now-mother of two kids, Bella age 3 and Andre aged 1.
